Passenger safety

Front airbags
System which protects the driver and frontpassenger in the event of a serious front impact
in order to limit the risk of injury to the head and chest.
The driver's airbag is fitted in the centre of the steering wheel; the front passenger's airbag isfitted in the dashboard above the glove box.
Deployment
The airbags are deployed, except the passenger's front airbag if it is deactivated, in the event of a serious front impact applied
to all or par t of the front impact zone A, in
the longitudinal centreline of the vehicle on ahorizontal plane and directed from the front to
the rear of the vehicle.
The front airbag inflates between the head-
thorax of the front occupant of the vehicle
and the dashboard to cushion their forward
movement.

Changing a wheel
Procedure for changing a faulty wheel for the spare wheel using the tools provided with the vehicle.

The tools are installed in the boot under the floor.
To gain access to them: )open the boot, )lift the boot carpet by pulling the strap
upwards,
)remove the polystyrene storage box,)unclip and remove the box containing the
tools.

All of these tools are specific to your vehicle. Do not use them for other purposes.

Wheel with trim
When removing the wheel, firstdetach the trim using the wheelbrace 1pulling at the valve passage hole. When refitting the wheel
, refit thetrim starting by placing its cut-out at the valve and press around its edge withthe palm of your hand.
3."Bolt cover" tool.
For removing the bolt protectors (covers)on alloy wheels.4.Socket for the security wheel bolts (located
in the glove box).
For adapting the wheelbrace to the specialsecurity wheel bolts (if your vehicle is fitted

Changing a fuse

Installing electricalaccessories
Your vehicle's electrical system is designed to operate with standard or optional equipment.
Before installing other electrical equipment or accessories on your vehicle, contact a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.

CITROËN will not accept responsibility for the cost incurred in repairing your
vehicle or for rectifying malfunctions resulting from the installation of accessories not supplied and not recommended by CITROËN andnot installed in accordance with itsinstructions, in par ticular when the combined consumption of all of the additional equipment connectedexceeds 10 milliamperes. The extraction tweezer and the s
pare fusestorage locations are on the back of thedashboard fuse box cover.
For access to them:)open the glove box lid,)unclip the fusebox cover by pulling on the side,)remove the cover completely,)remove the tweezer.

Access to the tools
Before changing a fuse, the cause of the failure
must be identified and rectified. ) Identify the faulty fuse by checking thecondition of its filament.
